Munket was inspired by a certain 2-year-old who was learning her words.
Back then, she kept asking for her munket at bedtime. It took some time, but those around her finally understood that what she really wanted was her blanket.
That moment of clarity when we see what the client truly wants. This is what we strive for. Our business is all about people. Putting people first. Setting aside bias and hearing people out is so important to us.
Quilts in America date back to the time of the pioneers. It was a time of scarcity where woven cloth was a luxury. In stitching together precious pieces of scrap, the early pioneers found a better way to keep warm. Today, the quilt as we know it, is much warmer than a blanket.
In using a quilt design as our logo, we hope to embody this pioneer spirit.
We want to do better. To stretch ideas and possibilities. To improve and innovate.
Also, the process of quilt-making is our analogy for project management. Take for example our special focus on mergers and acquisitions. We understand that our job sometimes requires patient disassembly and reassembly with the least amount of disruption to the business. It requires experience and knowledge of what fabric the team is working with. It demands needle-fine precision, a collective vision and the right team of experts to pull off the overall design.
This particular design in our logo is known as the Dutchman's Puzzle. Historians are unable to tell if the repetitive shapes used in this design were influenced by African geometric art. Or if the windmill pattern points to some Dutch influence. Perhaps it is the result of ideas formed by a fusion of cultures.
Whatever it is, we know one thing for sure. It's that there is no greater satisfaction than seeing a project coming together on a global scale. There is joy that comes from working with a team of unique individuals. There is excitement in creating solutions through the fusion of different experiences and ideas. What a beautiful thing.
In project management and consulting, strategies for organic growth, expansion, merger and acquisition, de-mergers and spin-offs are never simple. Many things can get lost in translation. However, our team of experts work tirelessly to connect with our clients in that defining Munket Moment.
