that you received a little gift from us and are on this page to figure out how it works.
We really hope you enjoy our handmade heat and cold pack. Here are some questions you may have about it.
The sack is made of natural cotton and is filled with rice, infused with lavender essential oils and dried lavender flowers.
We recommend putting it in the microwave on medium high heat for 30 seconds. Stand a glass with some water in the microwave next to heat pack. Increase the time in the microwave by 10 seconds if you want it warmer and lower the time in the microwave by 10 seconds if you prefer it cooler. You use this on sore areas like old sports injuries, muscle cramps or stiff shoulders or necks to ease tense muscles.
Or,
pop it in the freezer as an emergency ice-pack to ease sprains or bruises when needed.
Be careful if you decide to use this on an elderly person or a child. This is especially so if you are using this as a heat pack. Do make sure that the temperature is suitable for the child or elderly person and monitor that there are no adverse skin reactions to the essential oil.
We do not recommend using the heat or cold pack on pets as lavender oil has been known to be toxic for animals such as cats.
